Dia de Los Muertos workshop

Attendees of this weekend's Dia de Los Muertos workshop will treated to a mouth-watering demonstration.   Bany Vargas from La Calenda in Santa Barbara will make a presentation on Oaxacan hot chocolate and its origin at the Artesania para La Familia event on Saturday,  Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. in the Carpinteria Multipurpose Room, 5141 Carpinteria Ave.  The presentation will include a demonstration of the peeling and grinding of cacao beans and molding chocolate.  Chocolate will be served to participants.  Pre-registration is required.  Call Suzanne at 617-5929.
